Cleaning Procedures
Step 1: Pre-Inspection and Written Quote
Our IICRC Certified Technician will do a walk through inspection with you to identify issues. They will evaluate soiling conditions, carpet construction, and potential permanent stains. We will then provide a written quote before any cleaning services begin.
Step 2: Pre Vacuum
Next, we pre-vacuumed your carpet to remove bonded, dry soil.
Step 3: Furniture Moving
Done Just Right Cleaning moves sofas, loveseats, chairs and any small tables provided that they clear all items. We leave heavier pieces such as beds and dresses in place. Due to liability reasons, we do not move china hutches, entertainment systems, pianos, or other valuable belongings.
Step 4: Pre-Spray, Pre-Spot
We pre-treat high traffic areas, spots and stains.
Step 5: Pre-Groom and Wipe Baseboards
We will pre-groom your carpet with a carpet groomer or rotary cleaning machine (depending on soil level) to loosen traffic area soil. We then wipe all baseboards clean.
Step 6: Extract-Rinse-Neutralize
Once the soil is loose, we use high-tech, cleaning equipment. Our state-of-the-art truck-mounted hot water extraction cleaning process will thoroughly neutralize and rinse the carpet pile. Our cleaning technicians regulate pressure and heat, so the carpet doesn’t become too saturated.
Step 7: Post Spot Treatment
If any spots are not removed during cleaning process, specialty spotting techniques are employed. Note: Potential permanent stains, as identified by technician may not be removed.
Step 8: Applying Scotchgard Protector (optional)
Done Just Right Cleaning highly recommends treating your carpet with carpet protector after every cleaning. Carpet protector helps keep dry soil and oily residues from sticking to the carpet fibers. Our carpet cleaning technicians will provide you a free estimate and explain further benefits to you.
Step 9: Post Grooming
The carpet pile is set in one direction, which aids in the drying process.
Step 10: Post Inspection
Lastly, our technician will walk through your home or business with you to inspect all completed cleaning services. After your cleaning services are completed, please let us know that you are pleased by signing the service receipt.
